The days of Christmas lights and fun
Where being together while we were young
Meant that Christmas was so wonderfully golden
How I love the lights upon the tree
And the decorative lanterns and tinsel for all to see
And it was so exciting back then
Being surrounded by family and friends
Where presents were not the important thing
But just being present was the best thing
As we danced together and took turns to sing
And as the night went on we’d celebrate again and again
For Christmas time is such an amazing thing.
