The government and those that employ you,

Taxing you to the hilt

This is the society the establishment built,

And it’s not based on equality

No it’s based on a foundation of greed,

Where they turn their backs on those in need,

It’s all about the profit and loss sheet

Fuck people they prefer commodities,

Trading on the stock exchange where life is cheap

Trading on food, tea and coffee,

All the things that poor people need

But denied it in the name of greed,

Meanwhile somewhere there’s kids going hungry

That don’t matter to those who are wealthy,

That’s the truth about our caring society

Where they don’t give a fuck about you or me.
