Age creeps up on us all

Stealthily like a ninja does,

You feel so young in mind

But the body contradicts this fact,

Then you wonder where went the time

Faster and faster it goes by,

From summer days when we thought we’d live forever

To the autumn of life where we see the sun setting low,

Age is but a state of being

Yet still it’s a reality hard to deny,

As the body fails, the mind struggles

I find the end is drifting by nigh.
