A battle he could not win

He was a great mind

Within his time,

A legend with a sword

An artist with a pen,

She was a beauty

Who ruled the seas,

A mistress of the waves

A goddess of the deep,

Both clashed in an epic war

And he found his army torn,

Asunder by her clever ways

She was a warrior so ferocious,

Where his talent was just only precosious

She knew well the art of war

And defeated her men bore,

This legend with a sword

To her and threw him down in front of her,

And she said, stick to the pen

Or one day you will meet your end,

And end up deep under the sea

Because you will never conquer me,

But I will let you serve me

With your fanciful, delightful poetry you see,

And we will survive the ages with you worshipping me,

Which I still do.
