Viruses and hunger
As well as fucking death,
What do we get
Shit is what we get,
From those who govern
Did you expect any less,
And a life of subservience
At the very best,
Slaves to the rich and privileged
No more than simply guests,
And our passivity is what allows this
Never any signs of dissent or unrest,
So that is why I say what do we get,
Shit is what we get,
But that’s what we settle for
So I guess we deserve what we get.
