Life is to short for that

I do not hate

Life is to short to hate,

I offer love

Because it’s a positive state,

I do not hoard out of greed

Because that doesn’t appeal to me,

I choose to share

Because I believe in equality,

And that’s enough of everything

To go around for everyone,

I do not like getting angry

Anger is just negativity,

I prefer peace and calm

To reside from within me,

This is so hard and sometimes I may fail

But at least I am practicing

To change my ways,

I do not fight

Because violence is ignorance,

I choose a more enlightened path

Which is of greater significance,

I don’t have foes

Life again is to short for that,

I prefer to have friends

It makes life happier and that’s a fact.
