No regrets about how I feel
The views I hold they are real,
Formulated in my own mind
Created by own conscious design,
Agree or not I doesn’t matter
If you approve should I be flattered?
I just say what I feel is right
I am prepared and happy to fight,
Against all that’s wrong I life
And if you ever wonder why?
It’s because I was made that way
More comfortable with love over hate,
That’s just me, that’s just my way
Slander this, make shit up,
I don’t and will never give a fuck
About how other people perceive me,
My views are my own to broadcast freely,
Stating what I see are truths
And presenting them to you,
I hope you’ll ask more questions
And not just blindly accepting,
Everything your parents and teachers taught you,
And if it only resonates with just one person
I’ll be happy my job is done,
So no regrets, and my love will I hope live on,
In the minds of my children and that being the case
I’ll feel good when it’s time for me, to finally vacate this life and this place.
