Can you tell me what’s right or normal

It doesn’t have to be to formal,

Taking drugs and drowning in alcohol

Abusing women hoping to be in control,

Waging wars and killing inoccent people

Working everyday for a pittance of minimum wage,

While others earn fortunes for the debt they create,

Can you tell me what’s right or normal

It doesn’t have to be to formal,

Discriminating against people of different colour, faith or genders,

Or pointing shouting racist shit or calling gay people benders,

Is it calling people dinners who live the best way they can

Theiving, thuggery, murdering nothing justifies these ends,

Recklessly deciding to have way to many children,

Or forcing people into poverty to keep them suppressed

Forcing laws on people that cause distress,

Can you tell me what’s right or normal

It doesn’t have to be to formal,

I think I’ve lost the thread of what right and wrong

But I am not judgemental I just wish to understand what’s going on,

For things have been messed up for so long,

And they just carry on and on.
