People walking down the street
They have eyes but do not see,
The beauty that surrounds
They’re list in app created fantasies,
Glued to their glossy mobile screen
And I see them and I could scream,
There’s more out there externally
Than you’ll ever find on you phone,
And it’s isolating leaving you alone,
And there’s far more within you to discover
Seek the introspection that you another,
Out of finding something that you may not like,
Trigger yourself by getting trolled
Take back control put down your phone,
And take a good look around at all the wonders you are missing
And create new memories on which one day you’ll be reminiscing,
Instead sitting wondering where did my life go
And why am I so alone,
And why is there nothing to look back on,
Except Candy Crush that hardly got your heart pumping,
Or gave you an adrenaline rush like living truly can.
