Hero’s and legends last forever and never die
They survive through the stories told through time,
They remain resplendent and epic in readers minds,
They struggled through good times and bad
Made tough and hard decisions many of us never would have,
And as they stand there inspiring and full of grit
They put into context if our lives really are that shit,
And it’s up to us to choose for we can also be heroic
It’s about being courageous and brave,
And standing up and saving the day.
