I want fresh organic food
From unpolluted nurtured soil,
Is this to much to ask these days
I don’t want Frankenstein GM food,
That’s not even put on the label
I don’t want bleached and injected shit,
Served up on my table without warning
What they do with food these days is mad and wrong,
Nature offers us better and it has all along
We need to get back to basics,
Cut out the pesticidal covered fruits
No more fucking overly processed, freeze dried foods,
Kept for ninety days in storage
No wonder it rots so fast when brought,
The benefits you get from this food is nought
Meanwhile Macdonald’s doesn’t rot at all,
Not ever insects or bacteria will eat that fake shit
Just what are we letting them get away with,
Feeding us poisonous heavily sugared food
And when we try buying natural organic it costs more,
Why the hell are we putting up with this for,
It’s really not good for us at all
Which is we we should all want fresh and natural organic food,
From unpolluted nurtured soil, that’s all.
Great verse about the weird bad sh*t that is passed off today for “food”. More people should explore growing, at least partly their own food. Plus it gets you outside and helps you enjoy the wonders of Mother Earth.

Amen. It is so hard to find because there are so few family owned farms left. They are disappearing at a rapid rate here in Indiana.

You are so right. As a fellow Hoosier that used to be engaged in farming, I concur. that one is hard pressed to find that 80 acre family farm that used to be the backbone of Midwest agriculture.

Most of the independent farmers I know work other jobs so they can stay on the farm. Their children aren’t interested in the farming life theses days.

Food quality is a major concern these days. I agree with you, having access to food that is healthy a nutritious is a basic human right. Over supply of oversupply, chemical induced products is a crime many get away with because of their deep pockets. Untill governments change sides from serving corporates to serving their people, this will continue to be a concern.
