But their relationship

Was like a Greek tragedy,

He was full of false pride and ego

She was lost in her own beauty,

Both sadly lacked real substance

Surrounded themselves with material things,

But these things could not sustain their love

And offered their life no real meaning,

Adonis and Aphrodite

To starstruck lovers in many ways,

But both representing a Greek tragedy

And despite this story many fail to see,

That love must go deeper than what’s skin deep

And what you get from material things.
