I don’t want to hear the truth

I want you to lie to me,

I don’t want to know what’s real

I just want someone making decisions for me,

I don’t want to see what’s going on

Please sedate and distract me,

I don’t want to be accountable

Condition me to not see this

Brainwash me and lie to me,

Offer me nothing but domestic bliss

And materialistic hopes and dreams,

Teach me to embrace servitude

Teach me to be bitter, hateful and rude, lol

Anytime others try to wake me up

Give me a heartless, soulless life

I prefer being wrong instead of right

If it means I can stop thinking

If it means I don’t know my own mind

Lock me up in my own created cell,

Counting down time, in my own life akin hell.
