The flight of the bumblebee

Means so much to me,

I watch fly so beautifully,

Moving from flower to flower

Pollinating everything,

For that’s in reason in creation

And that’s its role in nature,

With its wonderful display

Of black and yellow array,

It’s vital in our existence

It keeps life continuing,

I watch as it travels on its own

Yet it’s selfless in its act,

It doesn’t question what it does

Doesn’t ask what it gets from this,

A drone we may call it

But what it does is quiet heroic,

It maintains life and nature’s balance

And we need to acknowledge this,

And treat it as it should be treated

Treat it like it’s precious,

Because believe me

The whole new family,

Creatures nature and creations vitality

Which allows us to exist and breathe,

So let’s pay homage to the role of bumblebee’s

And their home family,

And all that they do for you and me.
