The kids are okay

They’re not discriminatory,

Many of the believe in equality,

Many stand up about climate change

It’s just older people stuck in their ways,

Who carry on with nationalistic hate

Talking about the good old empire days,

Glossing over the historical shame,

Of oppressing and exploiting other countries

He’ll bent on destruction and greed,

Thank God that kids fail to see

The empire days so triumphantly,

So there’s hope for the future I really do believe

Regardless of colour, gender, faith, politics or sexuality.
