My message isn’t getting through

Sometimes I worry my message isn’t getting through

Even though it’s rooted in the truth,

Hey, what is there I can do

Except hope that it resonates with you,

It’s a message manifesting love, light and unity

Rooted in peace, tolerance and equality,

And in theses days these words are revolutionary

How did we get here, it’s hard to believe,

So much division across so many countries

Yet we are all a part of one big family,

But people have lost their spirituality

And adopted xenophobia and greed,

And trying to satisfy their material needs

But I choose living in the simplicity,

That happiness and love is enough for me

But that message doesn’t get through,

For some reason bitterness and anger is the emotions so many choose.
