Spiritual ride

It doesn’t matter which side you are on

You should want the love light and peace to shine upon,

The whole world and not preach hate and fear

You should want and wish to make this clear,

For no matter what our differences we are one race

No matter what our colour, or faith,

We ultimately all share the same fate,

We are all living impermanent lives

And the one thing that is true none of us are getting out of it alive,

And so we must be respectful of other people’s rights

Yet this is something we seem to lose in our limited sight,

Life should be a glorious experience not a constant fight

It should be an enlightening spiritual ride,

Lived in kindness, love and light

From the moment we are born until the moment that we die.

  1. Amen what a beautiful poem to head to bed after reading. Hopefully I won’t have to wait till heaven but it is likely. Lovely writing. Have a blessed evening. 🤗Joni
