In the deep night do we lose sight of what living is all about,

Do we lose grasp on what’s love and learn to self doubt,

Do we go forward then go back again in the pouring rain

Wondering what is it that’s causing us so much pain,

You come here, around my house and ask me then what are you meant to do,

Start asking me what God would want, like I am supposed to choose,

And I say look at the possibilities and ask yourself what do you want

An if your close to understanding the meaning,

Of the soul and universe and life, or are you just confused and dreaming,

Because life is something nobody knows but the one thing is to keep believing

Is it has a path and somehow has a meaning,

And it’s up to us to discover it, so just keep on breathing,

And know that the answer lies within you deep

You just have to keep on searching for it

But know that love is part of it, so make sure you keep on clinging

To the vestiges of what it is and maybe you’ll feel closer to Jesus,

Or whatever spiritual belief you have and then feel the pain then just leave us,

Because round here, when it gets late I know it hard

To keep on dreaming and believing,

When life is tough we feel like giving up

But that the time to hold on to love,

And know that we can still get through it, though it may no seem it,

But you can, so hold on.
