Cry rivers of tears

For the way that we treat,

Our earth and our humanity

With brutal uncaring,

And a destructive touch

Devoid of empathy and any love,

Where hatred is easier to offer than kindness

Cry rivers of tears for the way that we act,

We must learn to change it must be our must

And develop a growing, nurturing touch.

    Sigh… sad, but true. Here in Canada now, we are unearthing aboriginal children, some as young as three, who were forced from their homes and into residential schools. Some of these places were open until the 90s. And this is only one example of the evil that lives amongst us.
