Nobody knows like I do
The things I want want to choose,
To make my life more fulfilling
So why do others try to choose,
My path and my direction
Thinking that they know better than me,
Thanks but I’ll make my own decisions
Because it’s what defines me as being free.
I don’t know if it never ends or if it cycles back again, but I am 66 this summer and people are always telling me what I want, what I do not want, what I should do, wear, eat or drink. My favourite are the people who tell me who I should vote for. My vote, dang it!
