Direct action time

I believe in love

And I believe in peace,

But I also think that direct action

Is the only way we can achieve,

What it is we really need

I don’t believe in violence,

But I believe in disruption,

But surely that’s preferable

The the whole world wide destruction,

And yes some people that get angry

Because they don’t understand,

These are the followers of governments

And they will never make a stand,

To stand up for this earth our home

For there’s no where else to go,

So we have to stand up and make a fucking show,

To highlight the dangers

And how we are running out of time,

To free ourselves from their bondage

We have to free out fucking minds,

And start to get involved in doing something to bring about change,

And they’ll ridicule and try to make us feel ashamed,

But we are not the ones sitting doing nothing as earth burns,

While they’re cutting down rainforests

As if trees have no self worth,

They mine, they frack, they drill the crack,

The earth from crust to core,

They pollute it with plastics, chemical, pesticides

And endless fucking wars,

The destructive nature and ages on mankind

Has to come to an end,

And we must turn man into nurturing human beings that defend,

Learn the like of permaculture

And how to put more back in to nature than you take out,

This passive observer lifestyle is no good, we have to break out,

So don’t be afraid of direct action

And never be ashamed,

Saving our environment is not some stupid fucking game.

  4. Too many people believe that it’s not real.

I remember years ago,in an argument against global warming, a Senator brought a snow ball into Congress with some insane argument that because it snowed (in WINTER) there’s no global warming. Therefore, obviously, we can continue destroying our planet. I don’t know why it’s so hard to understand…. polar bears spend more time swimming because the icecaps are melting, and that’s fake news because you found a snowball? 🤯
