Take me home

The night comes around so soon

And I am left staring up at the super moon,

Beneath the ebony sky

I imagine the love between both you and I,

And as my mind conjures up pictures

I find the universe opening up my eyes,

And as I look in front of me

I see a tranquil opalescent sea,

And the moon shines a long and narrow path for me

Inviting me to walk towards its glow,

And in this moment I feel it beckoning me home

So that I no longer have to be alone,

It’s like it’s always known me

It’s like I feel as one with the sea,

I think this moment has been coming,

I now feel safe in my spiritual zone,

And as I walk towards my home

I feel the gentle waves lapping against me,

I feel to pull of it beneath me and then it washes over everything I see,

And in perfect suffocation I know longer breathe

As my spirit rises from my body and takes its leave,

So that all that’s left drifts off like energy

To explore the myriad of galaxies.
