Do you ever in life have enough

Of the nitpicking and the backbiting,

By those who you never really work with or talk to

But they try and get on by standing on you,

Trying to make you look bad

And though their actions are kind of sad,

Yet you find yourself triggered, vexed and mad

Then you calm down and then you feel bad,

That you gave them that power and you don’t understand

Just why you did it,

I had one of those days

And I have to learn to be a lot smarter and get with it,

And show no emotion and get over this

By not taking their stupidity personally,

And ignore their desperate acts to please

Others at our expense because you see,

They got nothing to offer unlike you and me,

Because we’ve know we got everything we’ll ever need.
