Do we decide who to love based on wrong and right

Do we distinguish who to love while judging their side,

Is it impossible to love those we call our enemies

Or is it a higher form of love to see them with empathy,

And still find something in them if not to love than to forgive

Is being filled with hate and resentment the way to live,

If you let that anger consume you

It will eat you up through and through,

There’s only really to ways to live it’s true

To give yourself to love or hate

You are the only one who can choose,

But we’d get much further in my many if we’d only share

In love, kindness and in the innate ability to care.
