Why can’t people love

Instead of deciding to hate,

Love is empowering

Hate debilitates in a negative way,

Why can’t people love

And not be jealous

Or judge others lives today,

Why can’t people simply choose to love

And dwell on this positive state.

    I feel it’s because many people carry old wounds with them, those which are in need of attention. I once read, hurt people hurt other people, and it’s true. Until we heal ourselves we will continue hurting other people.
