I remember cold dark nights
It was back in the 70’s,
Power cuts due to incompetency
Government mishandled policies,
It put so much hurt upon our society,
And now it’s coming around again
And I can already feel the palpable strain,
That poor people are facing as our country goes down the drain,
We need better answers, leaders and government
Many now can’t even afford to pay their rent,
Supermarket shelves are empty food is getting scarce
As a result of the greedy rich,
We are now duly cursed.
with no commitments and all excuses
