Is marriage about love
Or is about ownership,
Is it about a shared union
Or is about caging each other,
Afraid the either person
Maybe attracted by another lover,
Fearful that each other
May wish to experience something new,
And what’s wrong with open marriage
Where other people come and go,
Rather than deciding this can’t be so,
Only to find when it does if one or the other stray
They end up heartbroken
And feeling like they’ve been betrayed,
Is it right for people to think that no one else will come their way
And make them feel attracted in a different ways,
And is it right to deny yourself or the other person of some joy,
Can you let them experience this without getting annoyed,
Can you share each others love
And embrace each others freedoms,
Or is it much more likely that if they do this
Then you will just leave them,
If so is this love or is it you feel a bruised ego,
Do we stifle others desires and their right to live free,
Is is it a suprise others find them attractive like they are to you and me.
I agree with you. True love means wanting the object of your love to be happy, no matter what. I believe it is possible to love more than one person. People fill different needs in each other. There is no reason to be jealous.

Food for thought, although I don’t necessarily agree with the conclusions. Well written. 🙂
