Do you ever feel subtly bullied?

Told what you should say and what you should think

Do you feel at times your views push some people to the brink,

You have your opinions but don’t have your say

Because you know it’ll only go one way,

It will trigger anger in those you talk to

And you know they’ll get aggressive towards you,

How dare you feel different from them in any way,

So keep your head down and keep your mouth shut

You’ll avoid arguements with any luck,

But when they pick on the slightest things

You know the argue about whatever topic you bring,

It’s hard to expound any of your views

So keep your views and opinions that resonate truth,

Within your own mind so they don’t become unglued

And when you’re proved right, just like you knew,

It will give you a sense of feeling good

As they sit and simply stew, you can see they’re in a bad mood,

But never say, ‘see I told you’ because they’ll simply deny and twist the truth,

And say it’s what they meant and nothing like you said

And that’ll only leave you more confused.
