My heart is full of kindness
My mind set on compassion,
My soul resonates peace
I value these feelings in me,
I find hate and violence abhorrent
These things don’t appeal to me,
Nor does ego, jealousy or envy
These are negative states I believe,
Manifesting darkness within us,
Where light is the preference to me.
