Less than human
That’s how they see us,
Those who rule
Really do believe this,
One rule for them
Another for us,
I find their attitude
Fills me with disgust,
They’re there to represent us
Not to breach the trust,
We put in them
To help to make life,
The best, the fairest
And the most equal
That it can be,
But they spend their time
Oppressing and lying to us,
And cheating to ensure
They sate their needs,
For power and wealth
Achieved through maximum greed,
While ignoring the vulnerable
Who are in the greatest need,
Because we’re less than human
That’s what they see,
Nothing but plebs
Some kind of sub animal species.
