Five hundred light years away
You can find the Cygnus constellation,
Within that is an earth like planet
It’s known by Kegler-186f,
This should give us all reason
To hope we’re not alone yet,
That somewhere is the universe
There are kindred spirits for us to find,
Or maybe for them to seek us out
And blow humanities mind,
And that somewhere there’s a lush and beautiful world
Like ours once used to be,
That isn’t chocked in concrete and rusted destructive machines.
