The struggles of life and death are not pretty

See a dead body or someone homeless and feel pity,

There for the grace of God go we

In a world so hard and filled with brutality,

We can all strive to make a difference

We can all do a whole lot more,

But we have to face these truths as they can no longer be ignored

But everybody celebrates war,

And far to many pay homage to greed

So many want way more than they actually need,

But what truly need is peace, tolerance and harmony

What we actually would benefit more from is love and unity,

We need to strive more in our societies for fairness and equality,

So that we see a whole lot more compassion

And whole lot less brutality in life,

You can say I am wrong but I am right,

You can bring with you darkness

But I prefer to come here baring light.
