Caught up in the middle of a superpower struggle

Facts are faked and truths are muddled,

And in the cold light of day innocent blood does puddle

In the bombed out wastelands where they play out their troubles,

And the whole world fears as they play their games

And we watch as they are directed by leaders so insane,

That they’d consider acts of brutality, wars and death

And would see nothing wrong in destroying all as long as they are left.
