She could not afford to eat

Her home was to expensive to heat,

But did those who run things care enough?

When I watched as they placed her box in the ground,

And I placed flowers on her grave

No amount of them saying they cared rang true,

Government is not set up to aid you anymore

It’s just part of the wealth creation scheme for the rich.
