Everybody has to wade through lies
In the corrupt and difficult life,
Those we place in positions to lead
Should be honest and reliably
Trusted to do the right thing,
I don’t think that of which I am asking
Is too much or unreasonable,
Just people that are of good conscience
To do the right thing when attention,
Is focused on things seen as vital
Because making the right choices are critical,
Not for just themselves but for humanity.
