Love must triumph over hate
People must stand up against all wars,
We must learn to silence the drums
That beat out the sounds of of the guns,
We must stand strong against violence
We must refuse to glorify any wars,
We must find our care and humanity
Amidst the government and media insanity,
That seems to reveal in these wars
We must discover that loves a better cause,
To stand up and fight for in opposition to their wars,
It’s time to turn our backs on those who lack
The love to find peace, because their soul and mind is weak,
So won’t you listen to me, life should be
About making love not war,
It should be about making peace not war,
Let’s fight for the right cause, and fight war not wars.
