What is there to do

What is there to say,

We live in a dangerous

And brutal world today,

We’ve been taught about fear

Nobody promotes hope,

I am just wondering

How we are supposed to cope,

In a world where money is tight

And everything’s a fight,

And we are shown the darkness

And denied the right,

To see the opportunities

That are around us to reflect light,

What is there to do

What is there to say,

We live in a dangerous

And brutal world today,

Media loves it for we’re glued to the news

Governments get rich from it,

And the arms trade is proof,

And the blood on our televisions

Show this to be the truth,

We need love, we need peace

We need to come together in unity,

We need to put down the guns

And to say finally we’ve all had enough.
