Caring and saving people
Should never be dependent,
Or race, gender or sexuality
It should be rooted in kindness,
And within our compassion
And should not stop there,
But should extend to other species
And towards the environment in which we live,
The moment we start to differentiate
Is the moment we become lesser people,
And shows a lack of empathy and understanding
That all life is precious and worthy of help.
