I see leaves strewn upon the ground
The cover up all the blood,
I see the empty cold carcasses of those that we loved,
Upon the hard and unyielding ground
I see children, women and men laying around,
And I cry for them and many tears I shed
There is no glory for them, after suffering agonising deaths,
And I will scream until my final breath.
Wars are fought by bloodthirsty types
Why do people seem to think it’s right,
These madmen lay us all to waste and people were slain
Now those innocents lay dead in mass graves,
And yet the warlords just celebrate
And I will scream until my final breath,
To represent those who are now dead
Is this how we want our world to be lead?
