Locked out of Twitter
For a use of a bad word,
For speaking out against the corrupt
It all seems kind of absurd,
That this government can do
And say just what they please,
Like people can feed themselves
For just 30 pennies,
And celebrate the opening
Of more and more food banks,
And like we should be grateful
And remember to say thanks,
They give three hundred million
To help those in Ukraine,
Yet let people here go hungry and cold
Now isn’t that just insane,
And they won’t levy a tax
On the energy giants,
Who’ve made it clear to all
That they wouldn’t mind it,
It is just that this government
Wants us back in the workhouse
And to force us into poverty,
Trust me it’s not my words
But my government that’s obscene.
