Tunnel vision
I feel I am speeding
Through a narrow lane,
Hurtling towards an end
As if fast forwarding
In my conscious brain,
To destination unknown
And it’s driving me insane,
And the brakes don’t work
It stresses me so much
It causes me so much pain,
Tunnel vision
Ever faster out of control,
Either side of me
It is just a nightmare,
A constant blur
I can’t see where I am,
I cannot recognise a thing
All the time all I know,
Is that I am speeding
Through a narrow lane,
It’s whistling through my brain
And it’s driving me insane,

This is my every waking day.
