The Prodigy
He was the prodigal one,
Went off did stuff
Learnt about life
And then he came home,
Didn’t play it safe
Knew life wasn’t,
To be left to waste
But to grab and embrace,
Not to forsake
The prodigy was smart,
Because he lived
Life in every way,
He lived life every day,
And learned it’s lessons
Both good and bad,
Learned to understand
And not get mad,
Discovered happiness
Not just being sad,
And making the most
Out of everything
He ever had.
