They want you to reject the truth
And to buy into their lies,
They continually do this while looking you in the eye,
We vote for them to govern with integrity over time
But at every twist and every turn they constantly blow out minds,
By using wealth and privilege to not pay for their crimes,
They break the rules, they break the law as if this doesn’t apply to them
Then they insult us by saying sorry like that will make amends,
But if you watch real carefully behind the scenes you’ll see them laughing,
Because their contempt for us is huge and they barely cover it up
Their scorn and derision is real and very obvious,
Yet for some reason we allow this farce to continue on,
So make sure it’s the truth that you demand from those in government.
