Xenomorphic creatures
I am sure they once lived here,
I think they built the pyramids
The intricate tools they used are clear,
They exceeded what our ancestors had
And clearly that is beyond any real doubt,
As to all the ancient wonders
That are still or no longer about,
I wonder if our brutal warlike nature
Sent them heading back towards the stars,
I wonder if they once upon a time
They inhabited the red planet Mars,
Or no doubt they came from further away
And await the day for us to become evolved and civilised,
So that they may return one day, so our friendships can be revived.
