Judged by wealth

Money makes the world go around

But if you’ve not got it you may drown,

And theres plenty of this I see

Happening in my town on the daily,

People struggling just to eat

People without enough money simply to heat,

Their homes and children, ain’t that a shame

Because they’re not succeeding at the money game,

Buy your house they say, it’s a dream

When you struggle to put shoes on your kids feet,

Why should people be judged like this

It’s so fucking materialistic,

They think success can be counted in wealth

But what about mental and physical health,

What about judging it through love and kindness,

We need equality, so that we can put

These greedy selfish attitudes behind us.

  1. I fully agree with you, Faux! But those with the wealth – mostly stolen from the community – will not give it back. They do not glorify the wealth, only the power it bring ruling the people. Best wishes, Michael
