Lush green meadows
Of the pleasant land,
So inviting to our
Fellow man,
For those who wish
To savour its delights,
We will put them on
A Rewanda flight,
And send them away
Because the empathy
No longer remains,
For those in need
Our government
Issues further pain,
This has never been
The British way,
But never have we seen
A government
Like this in my age,
And I am ashamed.
