Brutality and death
Defines the theatre of war,
And within this there seems no laws,
Innocent people killed
By trained professional soldiers,
Who knew better and what they did
Killing in their beds,
Father’s, brothers and kids,
In the theatre of war
Life becomes so cheap,
Destroying lives of the defensless
And against the weak,
In stressful situations
Sure sounds like a wrong to me,
Within some people evil seeps
We begin to witness and see,
All the horrors, murders and atrocities,
Carried out in he our names
For some kind of victory,
But when the theatre of war
Causes you to lose your humanity,
Then there is no God
No matter your faith or belief,
That will condone these acts of pure brutality.
