Just don’t ask

Don’t ask for my views

Don’t ask about my beliefs,

There’s no point

Because you won’t agree,

And they’ll only disappoint

They’re more radical,

More out of the box

Because they’re unique,

For they were formed by me,

Sculptured by my consciousness

Based on my own reality,

They aren’t’ adopted

From somewhere else,

They are not stolen

From somebody else’s ideas,

They’re a culmination

Of all that I have learnt,

And experienced over years,

So they are individual

And they represent me,

And you may not like them

You may not even agree,

But that’s your problem

And that’s fine with me,

I am what I am

And I will be what I want to be,

And believe in what I choose to believe

Which makes what I think unique,

Thoughts derived from my own conscious reality.

  1. I enjoy conversations with people whose views are different than mine. If we are respectful walk we talk, both sides can learn something!
