People associate loss with suffering
But for many who we lose, life is suffering,
That suffering is often visited upon us by others
But often it is also self-inflicted,
So for those who suffer during life may find death to be a relief
In some way we have to try and find a way to celebrate life,
And then once we’ve learnt that we can then start celebrating death
For there is greater positivity in this,
Then the pain and hurt we put ourselves through today,
In many ways our suffering in life is caused by allowing
So many people let others have influence on their life,
Giving up somehow responsibility for decisions they had to make
Or for the direction of which their life went,
To be happy requires you to take control over life
Over the direction you take and decisions you make,
Once you do this we can eliminate regret
For regret is a cause of suffering,
And we can eliminate blame aimed at others
Because blame is a part of suffering,
And when we learn that regret and blame is used to place guilt on others
Yet that guilt is on us for allowing them that responsibility,
When we take control we should never feel blame or regret towards ourselves,
We should actually feel proud that we called the shots over how we lived
Which then allows others to feel proud and able to celebrate our passing,
Knowing we were happy in life and will be sure that we’ll be happy in death
And more than anything, we’ll finally rest in peace,
So don’t allow life and grief to be at the root of our suffering,
Celebrate the miracle of just being here and of making the most of our time we had here.
