I once built kingdoms in my dreams

Before reality dominated everything,

I came back one day to the kingdom I’d built

It was in a state of rack and ruin and began to wilt,

I saw this dream and was devastated by its sight

It was now sunk into darkness and no longer bathed in light,

I was not sure if I could restore this again,

But I focused on doing this with my conscious mind

And I rebuilt this kingdom over a period of time,

And I promised not to abandon it by intending to reside

Deep within this dream instead of reality.
